Reclaiming the power of our sacred sexuality
Sexual energy is pure life force creative energy: it literally has the power to create new life, and it can be channelled to create anything else we wish too. It is this energy that allows us to tap into our true power as divine creative beings, here on earth to play and explore and make magic and physically manifest the wildest dreams and visions of Source that flow through us as inspiration.
We currently grow up in societies that are not designed to help us thrive, connect with our divinity and step into our power. Instead, they keep up shut down, passive and disempowered so that we make obedient workers to perpetuate the systems and continue funnelling wealth and energy up to a tiny minority of beings.
It is therefore no surprise that we are conditioned from a young age to feel disconnected from the source of our power: our sacred sexuality. We are taught through social conditioning that sexuality is somehow shameful and our sexual nature must be kept hidden away. Our relationship to our sexuality gets muddied with subconscious fears and guilt.
I have been doing powerful work to undo this conditioning in the past year or two. It is deep, deep stuff and can be very painful. I realised how much unconscious shame Deborah of the past had been carrying around sexuality. As I step more into this energy and power there is fear... will I be too much? How will I manage this energy and stop it spilling over towards others inappropriately?! But the deeper I go with it the more I sense the awesome power within myself, the more connected to Source and inspired and energised I feel, the more I believe that I am stepping into living my purpose. And, of course, there is increasing sensual and sexual pleasure in my life, but also just more openness to receive pleasure and abundance in general. Doing this work to reclaim my pleasure feels like it is bringing me closer and closer to living my potential in human form.
