Owning my own pleasure
”I open myself to receive unimaginable pleasure.”
This was an intention that came through for me during a meditation with Isis back in September, when I first began working with my new coach for feminine embodiment work. I was rather blown away that Isis gave me such overwhelming permission and encouragement to focus only on pleasure! Was she for real?! Turns out yes... and oh my goodness, it is SO powerful to step into my body and pleasure in new ways and reclaim them from the conditioning of patriarchy, which causes so many of us to feel shame and disconnection in relation to our female bodies. I can FEEL the Divine Feminine awakening and arising within my body in a radical new way. There is so much power and wisdom and pleasure there.
Even though I have done a lot of work in the last few years to unpick limiting social conditioning from my mind and body and step into my power, I was still on some level looking for a masculine counter part to ‘complete’ me until recently. I mostly trusted that he would be responsible for bringing me to ecstatic states of physical ecstasy and union with the divine through lovemaking. But now, I am learning to truly make love with my own Divine Masculine energy for the first time.
The last few days it was raining a lot here and I have been spending hours in my little womb-van creating sacred space and then playing with my own energy and pleasure in new ways with my yoni egg and wand. Every time afterwards I just cry for joy and relief and gratitude that finally I have unlocked this within myself.
The Divine Feminine is awakening within the bodies and hearts and minds of women (and men) in radical new ways at the moment. The layers of conditioning that keep us away from living our potential are crumbling. Do you feel her whispering and calling you? How can you give her more space to bloom?
